Hosted by Withers Collection Museum & Gallery
333 S Main

The Withers Collection Museum & Gallery has partnered with Leadership Memphis to display a monthly exhibit open to the public the last Friday of every month. Join us for Trolley Night at the Leadership Memphis Gallery.

From June through August 2018, we will feature images taken by Dr. Ernest C. Withers that capture music, messages and movements in African American music.

Withers Collection Museum and Gallery opened our doors in February 2011, located on the historic Beale Street. We feature the amazing historical photographs of the world-renowned photojournalist, Dr. Ernest C. Withers, covering Civil Rights, Music, Sports and Memphis Life Style. We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to EDUCATE the public of American History and PRESERVING the works of Dr. Ernest C. Withers.

Our goal is to bring people from the local community together to inspire discussion about the significant role of past and present Civil Rights and community leaders in paving the way for economic and social justice. We are committed to raising history awareness, which we hope will also raise funds and donations for our continued work in preserving and presenting our precious cultural assets.

We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to PRESERVE the works of Dr. Ernest C. Withers and EDUCATE the public about the history we treasure.
