MCA Spring 2015 BFA Exhibition


Memphis College of Art announces the 2015 Spring BFA Exhibition, which will take place in the Main Gallery of Rust Hall, 1930 Poplar Ave., Overton Park. The exhibition will be presented in two parts. Part I will be on view from April 1-20 with a reception on Friday, April 10, 6–8 p.m. Part II will be on view from April 24–May 9 with a reception on Friday, May 1, 6–8 p.m. The exhibition features works from more than 50 BFA candidates and includes a variety of media from painting to sculpture to digital media.
Artists for Part I include: Robert Burns, Kandace Fuller, Cyril Henry, Ashley Homeyer, Joni Miller, Brittany Moore, Mathew Kaminski, Anna Lacy, Lance Loftin, Kai Myers, Ashlyn Richey, Hannah Rohrbacher, Katherine Rupert, Heather Smith, Barrett Smyth, Mary Stetson, Dimitri Stevens, Molly Van Roekel, Rachel Stovall, Lindsey Sullinger, Lauren Taylor, Monikai Tinson, Jessica Vandenberg, Artavius Veasey, D’Angelo Williams, and Dorlene Woods.
Artists included in Part II are: Lyman Anderson, Slade Bishop, Britney Boswell, George Brooks, Glenn Buxton, Mari-Anne Caldwell, Kelly Cook, Justin Daniels, Margaret Davis, Shelda Edwards, Kari Forinash, Kalon Fowler, Zara Garza, William Godfrey, Vanessa Gonzalez, Maxwell Harmon, Christopher Hill, Natalie Jackson, Jennifer Johnson, Whitney Kerr, Katyria Moore, Krystyne Rawls, Kayla Reid, Bianca Smith, Alexander Swilley, Jade Thiraswas, Patricia Trahan, and Bethany Wholihan.
Rust Hall’s Main Gallery is open Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.; and Sunday noon – 4 p.m.  Exhibitions and receptions are free and open to the public.
