Mississippi River Cities and Towns: A Traveling Photo Exhibit Visits the Cotton Museum
Opening reception Thursday, October 24, 5-7pm
On view through November 8

Join us on Thursday, October 24 from 5-7pm for the opening of Mississippi River Cities and Towns: A Traveling Photo Exhibit Visits the Cotton Museum.

This stunning exhibit features photographs representing cities from the entire length of the Mighty Mississippi River, creating a portrait that shows beauty, impact, and importance of this arterial water way to the nation.  The collection has traveled the country as part of The Mississippi River Cities and Towns Initiative, a new effort led in part by our own Mayor A.C. Wharton partnered with over a dozen member-city arts councils—including Arts Memphis-- to create a coordinated voice for the Mississippi River.  Join us on Opening Night, Thursday October 24th, for cocktails, a free tour of the Museum, and a healthy serving of Delta culture.
