Bogey Nights Miniature Golf Exhibition at Memphis College of Art

Memphis College of Art will present Bogey Nights, a unique miniature golf exhibition in the Rust Hall Main Gallery from October 22 through November 12. An opening reception will be held on Friday, November 1 from 6-8pm.

The Bogey Nights exhibition consists of an indoor, interactive nine-hole miniature golf course. Each hole is designed by an independent artist or local architecture firm, including Greely Myatt, Colin Kidder, Elisha Gold, archimania, Self + Tucker Architects, Tad Lauritzen Wright, Evan Lebaroff, Niles Wallace and brg3s architects. The designs will reflect the ideas of accessibility and play as well as the balance between art and entertainment.

Each hole will be fully functional, creating a truly unique and interactive experience for Memphis art aficionados who have become accustomed to engaging with art only through sight. In addition to being able to play the course during the reception, attendees will be able to vote for their favorite golf hole. Prizes will be awarded in the amount of $1000 for the artist/designer with the most votes and $500 for the runner up.

Rust Hall hours are weekdays 8:30am-5pm, Saturdays 9am-4pm and Sundays noon-4pm.
