About the show the artist writes: “This exhibition marks a return to the idea of painting as a primary vehicle from an 11-year absence. The works in Fantastic Lies & Electric Revival are rooted in cut-paper collage, but primarily consist of paint-based materials on canvas & board substrates. FL&ER is intended to be an exercise in nontraditional abstraction & a departure from recent, more formal collage works.”
